Since December, PalaceApp has been attending monthly meetings with other local community organisations to create a ‘Town Team’ for Crystal Palace.

The thinking is that such an organisation could:

• Be the umbrella group for Crystal Palace carrying out public engagement to find out the key issues and prioritise them as our community needs
• Engage with our community to legitimately provide a single voice representing our needs to all five boroughs and raise funds to address issues that fall outside of our local authorities’ statutory responsibilities
• Address local issues through a strategic plan that’s delivered by an elected committee.

We think this is a great idea and we’re excited to be part of this initiative. Watch this space for further news on this.
